And I'll stick with my feeling that the realationship between Amy and River will be the key to unlocking the series. The same watch thing, they way they seem to think in the same way - ie when the Doctor found River's message in the museum, they both knew he was "keeping score" - they seem too similar to me not to be realted. Tied to this, it's pretty well established that Amy is at the centre of events and the BizarroFutureDoctor knows this, therefore to me River is as well.
