Good way to start off the season. Some plot points that bugged me though:
- Eric orders Bill captured, but instead a bunch of V-junkies get to him first and get themselves killed in the process? Eric's denial was so convincing when he talked to Sookie.
Oh, I hadn't thought about it that at that point he didn't know his guys failed; so he was lying. Hmm, good old Eric.
- WHY is the Queen of LA selling her own blood? Does she really get a psychic link with everyone who drinks it? Or does that only work when it's drank directly out of the body?
I thought she made it pretty clear that she is broke. She apparently can't afford all her excesses in life/eternity. Maybe I missed something.
- Tara, get over it already. Can we please have Tara's mom get eaten by something already?
Yes, that is one character I would not mind being eaten.
- Jason's difficulty with the ladies was pretty funny. Their reaction to his "I keep seeing y'all with bullet holes in your heads" statement was hilarious.
What is up with the bullet holes anyway? Is he stressing over shooting Eggs or was he having some kind of psychic experience? I didn't think about it but him just seeing bullet holes in people's head because of his anxiety is hilarious.
- yeah, the Bill/Sam scene was pretty hot.
Yeah, I was like wtf? Then when he woke I remembered that heightened sexuality is an effect of drinking the blood.
- I liked Bill's treatment of the old lady he fed on. He was going to get what he needed, but wasn't a jerk about it.
Yes, very tender. I like how he suggested it was her son who gave her the money.
- The werewolves look cool, can't wait to see where that whole thing goes.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
