The first time I watched it, my brother, who had seen it previously, covertly used his cell phone to dial the home phone right at the end. That startled quite a few people.
My then-gf told me her little sister and her friends were watching Scream with no parents in the house. So we called there, told her to play along and act as if a weirdo just called. Then I put on the Scream costume and ran into their living room through the open porch door. There was a lot of girly screaming and one of them threw the dog at me
