Because if something ever needed to be made 'gritty', it was THUNDERCATS, obviously. So maybe now Snarf dies horribly in the first episode and Lion-O is revealed to be a drug addict, or something.

Anyway, it's coming back on the Cartoon Network in 2011 from the makers of the new BATMAN series.
