The quality of the picture is significantly decreased, it makes computer animation look even less realistic, and the glasses give several people (myself included) very annoying headaches. It's another stupid gimmick that replaces plot, meaningful characters, and thematic content, all of which are increasingly being relegated to "art movie" status.

Of course you should have the choice to see the regular film more often, like I would have preferred with Clash of the Titans.
I don't agree that only bad films without plot or characters get the 3D treatment. That's a rather hollow claim. But like I also said, they gotta make sure it stays that way and it doesn't get too much with too many shitty films.
