Truly? I honestly have been extremely disappointed with this Doctor and directing in comparison to Tennant. I feel like nothing ever happens in the episodes-- I know, I know, this sounds ludicrous, given how much actually *does* happen in the episodes. However, after the show is over, I just feel like I sat through an hour of rubbish, and that nothing of true depth has been attained. Also, I don't think any of the characters are believable. Yes, Amy has trust issues, because the Doctor let her down several times when he promised he would be back, but their dynamic seems a tad ridiculous. As to the Doctor himself, I am not sure if I like this new style...the fast talking was something Tennant did, but he'd occasionally stop/be able to have normal conversation. Matt Smith never really stops, and he is just completely awkward...I don't really see anything else in him.

I'm not saying all of this to bash the new series, I just want more to come out of it.
