I'll probably tack my vote back on soon, but as soon as we kill beet we'll lose 1 or 2 people to NK. He may be the SK, but the nature of his tactic strongly implies he expected an ally to join him. It would have been nice if a couple players had waited till every 'No' was in before commenting on how we'd be unlikely to trust a RB RC, especially since the two players we were still waiting on are relatively new and probably don't remember the classic Cor Mason claim of game 4 and might have stepped into the trap.

Well, spilled milk, obviously if beetnemsis is a DF, and not a SK, we have a short list for his allies. HE probably has two, if he is, so we may as well to discuss the options for that so the SK can whack them, as opposed to one of us, tonight. If he turns out to be a SK, which is possible considering he might genuinely not have realized that we could and would pursue the RBer thing, then we're back to square one, but we'll have eliminated a whole NK and presumably will go into tomorrow with 6-3 town-DF, which isn't too bad a place to be since we have a lot of info, just most of it around beet's vote won't mean much.

Of course he could be a townie too, but I have to say that I find that option pretty slim now, it will be nice to vote on a more sure deal for a change.

Let us, though, assume beet will a Df - decent odds he's a roleblocker too, all things considered, but we'll see, probably in the next 24 hours.

Who is high-lit as possible allies? Or rather, who should we huddle up around so the cop can check them?

Well, obviously Fistofpainx has a beacon on him right now, and to a lesser degree Bergioyn. Let us instead though look at who almost certainly was not allied to beet.

Myself - I think we may safely assume I am not bussing beetnemesis

Kronin al'Sulc, White Flame of Tar Valon, Fox and Ravens, Darth_Katie - THe other voters for beet, and I do not think any of them bussed him, as his lynch was anything but a certainty even up to L-1, there is some wiggle room for the possibility Fox might have decided to bus, but fairly low.

All right, we can dismiss ranagrande, he is obviously not an ally of beetnemesis. Hobo basically declared his intent to vote for beet, though he didn't vote, so he get's a maybe. Hieshyn was locked onto Fox, but was even when fox was the only other strong supporter of ranagrande, which has been beet's focus, so if Hieshyn was beet's ally, targeting Fox seems a strange move. So he's a 'maybe'.

Breaking this down, and remember all this assumes beetnemesis is a DF, or member of a multi-person faction, not a SK, our list of potential allies for him, in order from most to least is

Now odds are two of those are DFs, if he is, and when I say 'most to least' I emphasize that there is a pretty big gap between number 1 and number 5. We can also make some good guesses on which of those are unlikely to be allied. Fox and Hieshyn, for instance, are basically mutually exclusive. Bergioyn we just have little data on, and I still feel Hobo is semi-prob-town. So we should expect copping to happen in that area and realistically during the hypocop, if we want to protect our cop, we need huddle up over those five, and don't forget that if one of them dies tonight it doesn't mean the cop might not have checked them, so you should probably pick your target for HC at twilight. I suggest, to make it easy, just roll a normal six sided dice and have fist assigned two numbers, then determine guilt or innocence with a flat coin flip or odds/even roll. We're expecting 2 out 5 baddies, so 50/50 is about right. If your HCer dies, just report their actual alignment, don't switch targets or flip a coin.

Okay, just wanted to outline a suggested battle strategy, obviously this only applies if beet is a DF or cultist, not a lone wolf or somehow actually a townie. If anyone else has any thoughts, nows the time, I'd love to hear from fist before we proceed but I doubt it will change much, so we can either wait and talk a bit longer, or proceed, I don't think we have to worry about a shortage of votes so I won't bother putting mine back on just yet, in case people still want to talk or someone votes just to end talk. Obviously, barring some stunning revelation, we know who I'm voting for.
