I'm moving this over here to save space ... it's going off the big long thing that Fox posted about evidence against Ranagrande.


I agree pretty much with Isaac that the case against Ranagrande is very weak indeed. I stated so in another post above already. I still don't like the attitude he took toward Hieshyn, but the material from Yesterday is about as convincing as a bear wearing a tutu pretending to be a ballerina. All the things Ranagrande said Yesterday were pretty much the same things everyone else (including myself) was saying. It's not really indicative of guilt ... I mean, maybe he is a DF, but the proof's not in those posts. Otherwise all of us who voted for F-T deserve to be under the same lens, and let's face it, we can't all be Darkfriends.

The whole case in general seemed a bit like it had been thrown together from the result of trawling through posts specifically to look for stuff against Ranagrande. You know, like Fox had decided he had a bad feeling about him and then went to go look for more evidence. Which, now that I write it down, is actually probably not a bad thing. Huh. Anyway, I guess my point is that the whole case isn't really very convincing at all, and I am not totally conviced that Fox believes it either. It has an air of desperate scrounging for something, anything, to back up a pre-formed conclusion, and that is a dangerous road to travel down. Not necessarily indicative of evil, but a bad way of thinking. You know, getting caught in the POV trap. There's a fancy name for the psychological process that I can't think of right now. Of course, I may not be entirely thinking straight either, so you know. I usually don't go in for the whole "bad vibes" thing, but I guess I'll give it a try today.

But my point is that my opinion of Fox is darkening a bit. Interesting. We'll see where this goes. I am pretty eager to hear this controversial NB evidence and what it could possibly tell us that we don't already know. Woo hoo!
