View original postbut the main conclusion is that I'm not in the list of winners. And neither is my teammate, beet. Our worthy leader on the other hand, is. Is the difference between him and us that we would consider Carrot foreign, and William de Worde does not? And can you tell me what the reason is the game is now over? Is it because The Watch won? In that case: FT, you lying * GRMBL * nag'm frag'm * GRMBL *. The rest DID lose, because the Watch won. As I said.
I didn't pre-write the flavor for N3 into a single document then paste it around like I did for N1 and N2, and there's no flavor for N4, once I got untangling the the massive snarl of actions, and with it being a long night, I decided to just proceed.
View original postPff, been a tough one for me. Much to take into account, slow moving at times. I think the RPS system was interesting, but is vulnerable with the odd ten heads in a row. I can understand the frustration of the Mod, but since nothing happened in the first night, this may have stopped any further discussion. For a game where a Day lasts a week at most (random voting on day 1, short discussion, etc), with 20 players it might work, but not in this group. Too bad, it was a nice idea.
Yes, it went well enough in the Dresden Files game but this time I think it overloaded, I would say bad luck but it could have swung the other way, too many early deaths/conversions, so I'm leery of trying it again.
View original postYou also mention cult conversions. Which were those? Taiga's Necromantic Blast is only a conversion in case of a tie, although with the lower scores it may count as one. I think I know that ? tried to convert people twice, and apparentely failed both times.
View original postHaving the Watch being able to talk to each other does feel like a bit of overpowering, especially with four Watchmembers, compared with three Hippos. As it is, I'm surprised we lasted so long.
View original postAnd why the H did Rana NK Stephen? Why??? (In fact, that's the eleventh head in a row, isn't it, which only succeeded because of Mod intervention...)
It was a debatable kill because Stephen never selected a Defensive RPS, but he was about to be modkilled anyway, and I had said a person without a defensive RPS would automatically lose an action targeting them and that they'd be assigned the worst result as their defensive RPS, so it was a clean kill.
