I tend to set games up is that is that I right everything out in advance and usually little character codes put in like "Player12" and such linked up to a spreadsheet so that when I enter the random value to assign characters it just flops into place, complete with NB ready for cut and paste, name at top for quick cut an paste. Meaning that while I usually preview and scan RMs before sending them out I typically don't remember who is who on Day 1. I rather enjoy that blindness so I make no effort to remember it except when I need to so I often forgot who is who and in preexisting character setups like this and the last one when I do remember its usually just the character name. So come night fall here I had a lot of "Oh, that's why they..." moments.
Not really relevant but its fun and I'd recommend it to other Mods, modding, especially on long low info Day 1 periods can get a trifle dull for Mods and it spices it up a bit.</tangent>
You will have all received a message from me via NB, labeled 'Name T1M', T1M being "Twilight 1 Message", that's fairly normal for me as I also use it to keep check of who is active, especially handy at nights when you're trying to decide if you should end the night if there's actions still pending, you can see if someone has opened a NB you sent them and that's handy for knowing how long to wait. Though one can do that just as easily by pasting the player roster into a single NB "Night X has begun" I suppose.
Almost every player has sent in a Defensive RPS, if you still haven't make sure you do, otherwise you'll lose your first night action targeting you automatically and probably get assigned that RPS as your permanent game defense.
That's it, nice job on Day 1, Good Luck on Night 1
