I've been trying to find a way of bringing this up without outright claiming, but in the end, here's the simple fact: my role does not require me to eliminate anybody. It's unambiguously pro-town, but I don't win, say, when every mafia is eliminated.
I've been suspecting that we may have... not exactly a faction war, but competing factions with their own objectives that may or may not intertwine. Say, members of the Hippo League win when everybody not from Ankh-Morpork is eliminated, which does not necessarily mean everybody outside the League. And another faction must eliminate people from a different set of criteria. Or maybe other groups have other faction-specific goals.
Anyway, without even a general notion of who it is we are supposed to lynch, it's hard for me to get down on specific cases for lynch, and with a role objective which doesn't give me a direct incentive to lynch (I do have indirect incentive, I'm not saying I'm going to no-lynch all game) I really don't see myself hanging anyone toDay. Given the complicated game setup, I think for once the Night really would contribute valuable information.
