There was no real need to break them out, but with the deadline looming, let's see what I can bring to the table.
Starting with Yunalesca. She posted two messages with a particular use of spelling that caught my eye.
(Emphasis mine)
That's a particularly interesting spelling, specifically associated with mock east-European and Vampire Tropes. This in turn is mocked by Pratchett in his portrail of people from Uberwald. Compare, for example, with vampire Otto con Chriek's "b-vord" instead of blood. Or, "It iss such an easy assumption to believe that everyvun with an Uberwald accent is a vampire, is it not? (...) But if I had said 'Hello my cheeky cock sparrow mate old boy by crikey,' what vould you have said zen, eh?" (If I remember correctly, there's also a line where it's made clear that most vampires are too sophisticated to talk like this, "but it's tradition, it's expected of them."
Now, she mentioned that she's read two of the books. It's not implausible that at least one of these involve either Uberwald and/or Vampires. It's a cute thing to do and I appreciate what Yuna's bringing to the game, but with a possible Undead Cult in our game, it's something we need to keep in mind.
Second thing: we could always do a count of the posts. And then do some threats, get some replies and get some accusations. In particular ? with 1 post, Sacrilicious Toast with 2 posts and Stephen with 3 posts will come under suspicion. But this will not go fast enough before Wednesday, plus there are some RBIRL issues.
Discuss.
We have to remember we are all named characters, and I atleast cannot think of a vampire character like that.
