View original postNo other real firm requests beyond 'no spoilers', which won't apply to any except setting/background info, I'll give a quick synopsis of each. As you enter to register please list, preferably in title, what your preference is, like "I'm in - GoT, DW, SW" to indicate you'd like Game of Thrones most and Star Wars least. Once the usual suspect have reg'd I'll pick one and alter thread appropriately and try to grab some more players off the tumbleweed ridden CMB or Books/TV/Movie boards.
View original postGame of Thrones - There's no specific timeline for this game, except 'pre-series', I might nail down a date but it will probably violate canon pretty casually. A familiarity with the series (TV or book) won't hurt but isn't really necessary either especially since I'll be trying to avoid spoilers. The main variation of this game is that people's vote-value changes. To simplify things people have 10.0 votes rather than 1.0, and roles and in-game actions can make that rise or fall.
View original postStar Wars - Variation of the random-role generator from the Dresden Files game, instead of pre-set character from the books who rolled a d6 against a table of roles for their character players get such a random list and get to pick, though there's a bit more to it.
View original postDiscworld - Setting is generic Ankh-Morpork. Discworld is fairly spoiler proof but timelines are always a bit tricky in DW without referencing book events, and pretty vague even then. Since it is in Ankh-Morpork, assume events occur after any book in which numerous medium characters or a major character that hangs out in the city has taken place, so as to maximize my ability to rampantly steal flavor and jokes from the series. There's no major alteration to initial game setup as with the other two, though obviously it will have its own specific weirdness.
View original postSo, vote your order of preference as you come in, favorite to least

The real question is why weren't you already wearing it? A wizard is nothing without his hat! *NM*
