... when majority already had, not even removing the currently inactives.
Yes, my 'smokescreen' that nobody but you seems to think exists.
Ah, well I suppose cop is too risky and doc too likely to result in one of us demanding no one counterclaim it as a potential suicide bomb. I enjoy more creative claims though, not that tracker is.
So, game of 12, tracker, a plausible role, the games just big enough to make that doable and the tracker is just common enough to be plausible yet just uncommon enough for it not to be a serious risk for someone needing a fake claim right now or else dead.
Did you know? I used to keep track of all the fake claims people made and 'generic non-cop investigator' nearly matched vanilla itself for most common fake claim, with Tracker being most of those generic investigator claims. The ratio rises when its a single-person coerced claim, since they know they need more than vanilla, losing a vanilla just isn't as big a deal as losing an investigator role. I've always thought watcher was better, myself.
We'll let the others examine the plausibility of your claim, but let's reexamine your motives now. Let's start by clarifying that your whole argument relies on me pressing you hard for knowing something while you claimed you didn't.
But... that's not true is it?
You understand that a tracker, simply by existing, typically indicates the town has been given extra investigation powers to counteract a more powerful scum threat?
Of course you do, that's Mafia 101 stuff.
If I were a tracker I might think the scum were more potent and numerous then the default, again, Mafia 101 stuff. I might write up a post indicating that, intentionally or not. You get that right?
So, I'm you now, and I'm a tracker, and I write a post that has various scum configurations similar only in that they are all more powerful then the default.
Now a player writes and says, "I think you know something, out with it"
Do you know how I'd respond? I'll tell you, I'd go to myself "Oh, crap, he's right, I do know something about our setup, my very role itself indicates more powerful scum and that slipped into my writing, my theories all assume they are. Crap."
Then I'd write back:
"I don't want to get into specifics, but I've cause to think we may be facing more powerful scum then the default, its not conclusive and I'd rather not say how, but it probably influenced my writing."
That's not what you did though, making me dubious as to your claim to say the least. No, even though you're a veteran of nearly a score of games you presumably missed the clear implication of your role, enough not to see it even when I hung a giant lantern on it. This, again, is Mafia 101, if you get a tracker RM you assume there is probably a cop and that the scum are probably more potent then the norm, that is 'Specific Knowledge' about their make up and matches what you were tossing aorund.
So... we are left with exactly two options:
1) You are a tracker and I was 100% right when I said you clearly had specific knowledge, yet you reacted to that post you should absolutely have recognized was totally true with extreme defensiveness and counter-accusations. The result of which is that either you missed that basic truth, in which case it implies a lack of insight way at odds with the great insight you claim while discussing my own motives, or you've willfully chosen to ignore the implication.
2) You are lying.
Neither of those options looks too good for you.
Now... do you possess any other knowledge you would like to share? Did your hypothetical tracker RM containing any other information which, with that out of the bag, you think may have even a remote chance of being useful.
