Yes, I'm assuming everyone got actual names, rather than "Q'Zander of Xynornia" or such, various minor hits from the billion or so people with some web footprint is to be expected. That first one sounds like a dating site but is actually some photobucket equivalent, and "Where are You Now?" or WAYN, a popular website for people to discuss their travels. The latter would have massive numbers of names to score a google hit, same FB or Twitter, the former probably means your character's name is the name or handle of someone who enjoys photography. Under the circumstances, not that it matters but the games makes me prone to get deductive, probably someone who travels and likes to post photos of their travels.
When I'm worried about the responses of others harming my team I don't include wiggle room, I simply don't ask the question in the first place. I wasn't aware I didn't leave wiggle room in most questions, I actually thought I typically did, but I also tend to get overly-precise at times too. I'm still low on coffee but having reread #3 it doesn't seem wiggly to me, just not well phrased, the examples included seem pretty clear though. The ambiguity though is not entirely unintentional, I'm sure we're not from a fictional setting and was pretty sure before I even asked, but I'm not so sure we're in a totally generic Mafia setting and I didn't want to push anyone into answering #3 as Yes if they were vague about exactly how generic it needed to be to get a "No".
Probably doesn't matter, but I try to be cautious on such scores, and I'd bet occasions where my questions have wiggle room are more common as town then scum, again when scum if a question worries me I simply don't ask it, the reverse is usually true as a townie, if a question worries me I almost have to ask it.
In any event, this is a pretty minor question group, basically just confirming that the power of Google will not avail us. I'm sure people will lie though, I tend to privy to a lot more of the 'oops' moments that go on, e.g. NB from Mod saying "Hypothetically speaking, if a mod sent two people out the same RM, as a random example, what should he do?" tend to show up in my Noteboard messages with fair frequency, especially if I'm already dead. So I'm very aware of how probable it is one of the players didn't get their name in their RM, for instance, or the mod made up the name "Bill the Butcher" meaning as no more than "Carl the Carpenter" or "Julia the Jeweler" without realizing that it not only sounds pretty scummy but is also a major movie villain, making the player [town or scum] very hesitant to give their name truthfully. With 12 players and 36 answers I'd be surprised if we didn't have one deviation.
Well, let me rephrase that, I'd be surprised if we didn't have one deviation, I won't be too surprised if no one posts one. This isn't the sort of question that a deviation is likely to end in a lynch or NK on, because I think most of us will assume everyone is Yes, No, No and deviation is just accident or coincidence, but the game makes people pretty paranoid and pretty paranoid about other people's paranoia, so I could see someone who didn't get a name on accident deciding to say they did or at least waiting till they could chat with the mod about it.
