It had been quiet for quite some time, except for the occasional friendly bickering, the breaking in of some first-timers and a conversation on illegal porn. Nothing that moved the conversation forward, anyway. Suddenly beetnemesis stood up. “Alright, I’ve seen enough. Fanatic-Templar makes a good case against Taiga. I join in the vote.” In a flash, galadriel3562 and Bergioyn join in, who both seemed eager to get this over with.
The brig is suddenly buzzing with energy again. New accusations start and suddenly –just like that- the support of voting against Taiga is gone. New strategies for determining who is the thief are proposed and implemented. At one time Taiga is again standing with one foot in shackles when someone notices that beetnemesis, after starting the first round of serious accusations, is now quiet. Very quiet.
The brig inhabitants slowly turn towards beetnemesis and start to wonder why this woman, in her long blue dress and exposed shoulders is quiet. She used to be talking so much, as bartenders tend to do. One by one four fingers start pointing toward this Brakiri woman. Before beetnemesis can defend herself, Yunalesca, the fifth, pushes the Babcom terminal. The B5 logo slowly spins on the screen and then resolves in the face of the security guard who was with Garibaldi yesterday. What was his name? Zaller? Zaller Something?
“Yes?” he asks with a gruff voice, clearly annoyed as if he was disturbed. He brightens when he sees who called and quickly comes over to take beetnemesis away. “Alright, good work people. We’ll empty her pockets and turn her upside down and inside out!”
An hour later Zack Allen (right, that was his name – but why do I hear “Greased Lightning” in my head now? Does that make sense?) appears on the Babcom screen and tells the people in the brig what he found. Then he dims the lights with the words “Good work, people. It seems this strategy is working. We're partly there, but we still don't have the crystal. Better luck tomorrow. Goodnight.”
===============
beetnemesis has been Lynched. Her name was Chadara and all the contacts in her bar, the Star Bar, are really useful. Just last week this Brakiri woman got the information on how to get into cargo bay 32 Alpha, where the data crystal that Ambassador Delenn has been so desperately trying to hide was located. Now THAT was useful and VERY valuable information. She didn't do the actual break-in, so she has no idea where the crystal is right now.
She won with the THIEVES. Information on specific Roles will not be handed out, until after the game is over.
Night has fallen. Please send your Night actions (if you have any) to me. Dawn will break once I have all Night actions, or 29/04/2013 (one week from now), whichever comes first.
