For ten more minutes I sat there on the silent beach with this unconcsious woman lying against my chest, wrapped up in my coat. The night was cooling and so was I. I had to act! Finally, I decided to try to reach the house.

I carefully lifted the pale beauty over my shoulder, a smile appearing on my face. As a kid I dreamed of rescuing people like a real fireman! Now, I did try to rescue someone but it didn't feel as heroic as I dreamed it years ago. I was cold, the woman heavy and the path up the cliff slippery. At last I reached the little house. The lights inside flickered a little as I tried to find the door. When I knocked an eerie scream rose from the inside of the house. What to do?
