Calculus is mostly about accepting that things not governed by straight lines generally act as straight lines in some respect, someone's velocity might change but their acceleration be constant. Integration and differentiation are the same as multiplication or division, just very acute, one is adding or removing dimensions, as opposed to addition and subtraction which can only occur in the same dimension. Calculus is essentially precision, multiplication and division.
