I've seen some episodes, but that's it. From what I remember it's a basic group of friends, centered around Buffy, the Slayer herself. Those friends have fun and games and kill vampires and monsters. Oh, and they hang out in that bar named in the opening message. There's Giles the librarian, who's her trainer (called Watcher), we're obviously in his library in Buffy's High School. There're her friends Xander (who I think had a crush on her, but later didn't anymore?) and Willow, later on we got Angel (who's like a Vampire himself, but like, good, you know? Like?) and Cordelia, who I remember as the bitch-who-hates-Buffy-but-turns-out-OK. And I think there's a whole group of people in later years, added and subtracted turning good and evil all the time. (As you can see, if what I've seen it's mostly the first couple of seasons. Wasn't Quark in there somewhere at one point?

I'll check Wikipedia tonight to fill in some blanks, especially in the names and who they are. If other can expand: please do. Although it may not help us much. As The First Evil said: she tinkered with some of our brains. That may mean that even if we know who is who, we still might not know allignment. If we have a list of recurring characters with their role in the series, we may have some idea of who we have. Knowing Joss Whedon, these things may actually be in flux - who we can trust may change from season to season so we may even need to pin point WHEN we are.

I'll also post a list of possible strategies we've used in the past, to see if we can use one of those this time.
