This could manifest itself in a few ways- the dead player could pick someone to kill the next night, or the next day.
They could become a "ghost," able to track someone once a night, but unable to interact with anyone, except maybe one character.
What could be cool, if we all had new names, was that if killing a player, no matter how it happened, meant that they became part of a new "side," the Spirits. The Spirits could have a few goals, but the one I like best would be if one player was actually a "vessel," and anyone who died was given the login information for the Vessel Player. So, you would have one character being controlled simultaneously by multiple players.
The Spirits could have a goal, basically "survive until the end," or maybe everyone could carry over the goals of their original team, meaning that sometimes the Vessel would be acting pro-town, sometimes pro-scum.
Probably for the best if the existence of the spirits was kept secret.
