First of all, I Vote: Nay on the Crisis. A player would have to own a space-buttload of Assets to get enough income from a Yea vote to make up for the bribe reward for setting an innocent man free.
A Yea vote opens up a Rich planet for sale next turn. A Nay vote gets us all a lump sum, plus a Strong Elector for sale next turn.

While the fact that the evidence so blatantly condemns Dysaz rationally leads to the conclusion that he is being framed, we really must consider the alternative, that Dysaz really did perform such an ill conceived and poorly executed assassination. And if this were true, I needn't remind you that we're all paying 600 megasolaris just to hold a trial on this farce.
Assassination is of course a fact of life, but if we're actually going to let such pathetic display slide, not only do we risk putting every Master of Assassins in the Imperium out of business, but we're going to get swamped with trials for idiots without the most basic grasp of subtlety, and that's going to cost us a fortune. We should probably flay this moron and make him an example of what basic standards of competence means. If an assassination leaves enough evidence to hold a trial, it probably wasn't good enough. And I for one will be happier when I don't have to waste my time and money on such affairs.
