Round 1 bids:
?: 98
beetnemesis: 3.14954483 × 10^78
BlackAdder: 15,747,724,136,275,002,577,605,653,961,181,555,468,044,717,914,527,116,709,366,231,425,076,185,631,031
Darth_Katie: 5 million
Fanatic-Templar: Terry Pratchett's number of magic divided by zero
Gher: 3,141,592,653,589,793,238,462,643,383,279,502
Hobo: 9884991221*
Isaac: 1,247,724,136,275,002,577,605,653,961,181,555,468,044,717,914,527,116,709,366,231,425,076,185,631,031,296
Kronin al'Sulc: 82066670353433990334437*
So yeah, division by zero is inappropriate. By "inappropriate" I of course mean that it's awesome, for those of you who haven't seen the latest slang on the community board yet. There's a reason dividing by zero gives Undefined errors on calculators. One school of thought holds that any number divided by zero will give a result of infinity. Fanatic-Templar did not have ? coins, so his bid would have been rounded down to his total of Eddington number coins and he would have been eliminated.
That's what would have happened if I believed in the n/0=? theory. I don't. Instead, I rule that when you divide any number by zero, you get nothing. Note that this does not mean that n/0=0. 0 is a thing. It's a number, an integer, etc. It is often used to represent the value of nothing, but it is not nothing. In computer programming terms, I would say that n/0=NULL.
So F-T submitted a bid of NULL. If he had not submitted a bid at all, his result would have been randomized as shown below. However, because he chose to make a bid of no bid, it has been processed and deemed the lowest, and Fanatic-Templar has been eliminated.
? had the second lowest bid and gets to keep his coins.
Here are the standings after Round 1:

* I did not hear anything from Hobo or Kronin, so their results were randomized. I had to bend the rules a little, as I was unable to strictly follow the 1d(lowest bid) + 1d(highest bid) for a number of reasons.
First of all, the lowest bid was ruled not to be a bid, and I didn't feel like dealing with 1dNULL. So I used ?'s second-lowest bid of 98 as the benchmark for the random low.
The high bid presented it's own difficulties. 1d3149544830000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 is beyond the scope of any random number generator I know of. I ended up splitting it into two rolls to go with (1d79)d10. The first roll determined the number of digits because the high bid was a 79-digit number. The second roll determined what numbers those digits would be.
You can find the numbers behind Hobo's random bid at http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2790365/ and http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2790368/ .
You can find the numbers behind Kronin's random bid at http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2790371/ and http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2790373/ .
Now then, begin Round 2! You have 48 hours to send in your bids!
