I object to outdated usage of proton counts as well

Eddington himself revised his estimate multiple times. His original claim really doesn't have any scientific value. However, it should serve extremely well as an arbitrarily large number to use in this game of strategy.
Although I tend to agree, I must say that increasing the size of the known universe does not necessarily demand an increase in the total number of protons. The universe is, after all, primarily composed of empty space. Besides, it is still possible that objects and phenomena at the extreme ranges of our perception may actually be comprised of anti-protons instead.
That would work too, except that the whole point was to mix things up a little.
I think it will be interesting to see what effect, if any, this will have on the betting.
Welcome
Even if I accepted Eddington's absurd number guess on that it ignores that the Observable Universe's edge is expanding to show new areas of space constantly that were previously unavailable to sight by the Universe's low age.

I also feel obliged to point out that 136x2^256 might be better utilized for play purposes as a constant, which I shall name "COIN" where 1 coin is equal to approximately 0.001x136x2^256, and thus for game play purposes we would have 1000 of these "COINs"
That would work too, except that the whole point was to mix things up a little.

But yeah, I'm in
Welcome
