Mason groups are not threats to the mafia right? So would those of the mason group come forward? I doubt that would make them(you) a target of the Mafia assuming the Mafia has a better person to kill.
They can be, if one of them has an investigatory role, masons aren't always vanilla, its sort of small add-on, I think in my 'modding suggestions' document I even list them as having an effective role value of 0
If you don't want to come forward I can see why. When I revealed I was a mason it almost got me lynched so...
Right, keep in mind I went into last night convinced there were multiple mason groups and that at least one, if not all, would have an enemy agent in them, last night I got some fairly decent reasons not to be quite so wary of my allies, so that left you. I'm very leery of discussing anything around them for additional reasons too, I'll probably have to divulge all of that to stay alive but before I do I'd really like to know if I'm already dead, there are limits as too how much damage I'm willing to do to stay alive, keep in mind I'd been pondering claiming mason for some time now, and decided it was too dangerous at this stage.
Yeah I don't even know...
Wow this message contains nothing...
Well let me add to it As a mason on day 1, you knew who your ally was, on the character claims table, and that his other three were fake, I knew that for two of the other players, and I'd come to suspect there was at least one more mason group, I'd guessed yours and was fairly sure fist was in it, or that he was spiderman, which made me unsure about Yuna, but I figured on "Avengers" not just a two man twin group. Superhero teams - I still think we might have another mason group out there besides yours and mine. I'm sure if people look back on day 1 they'll see I was fishing for that and they'll see, as one of my teammates did, why WF stuck out even more to me. FT says I was ignoring the scum, this isn't really the case, I was looking for them, looking very hard, but I was looking for mason teams, and its not really something I could put out. If I could see some movement between players who shared character claims that were on teams, I could figure out those teams. MY initial belief was that everyone or nearly everyone was superhero teams and the bad guys were dopplegangers on those teams, and I was able to eliminate a lot claims that way. But WF couldn't be on a team, no one works with Deadpool, another thing which made him stand out to me, and I scrambled my own character claims to ensure most of my fakes was also a team member of a major well-known team, I didn't want anyone else, if my 3-4 infected mason groups theory held, to be able to figure it out on day 1, they'd know, if it was true, on day 2, and their behavior might be a tell.
People rarely realize this but many scummers or masons act very differently on day 1 to day 2, they find out info at night they didn't previously know. Like if I'm a scum leader, I might find out one of my allies can RB or is immune to investigation etc, changes my whole game plan.
The day wasn't really about killing WF, I did want him dead because I thought it he was a SK, all evidence pointed that way, public and my own personal info, but I never saw the lynch coming down that quick, three hours, but that made me think 'team vote'
Look at who voted so far for both, Yunalesca, Amys and Kronin, its not hard of Yunalesca who listed two DC comic characters for hers, a major character's girlfriend, and a member of the X-men - two of those other votes, Amys and DK, both have listed other X-men as character claims and both listed unlikely characters for at leas tone of their claims - Namor, normally a villain, and Squirrel Girl, one of WF's claims and as mentioned, a minor character who I've discussed yesterday. FT didn't see any moves by me against the scum because there was no chance, the vote happened too quickly, it did it off a comment I'd made when I decided a lynch of WF was becoming improbable too, I thought people would go for semi-random, start removing people from the list, and that some of those might be mason teammates, or if the heavily infiltrated mason theory was true, I might spot a scummer by seeing who removed someone who couldn't be on their team. That never happened, but it was a workable plan, I really was doing something against the scummers I just never got the chance.
After brief discussion with my allies come the night, which they can back me up on or out me if I lie, I'd come to believe the X-men had bandwagoned WF, it didn't entirely fit though since I was sure FT was Wolverine, a X-man, and a principle rival of Deadpool who notoriously can sniff out shapeshifters. I thought maybe that was the reason he wasn't going for deadpool but it didn't make sense because the SK idea didn't revolve around him being a skrull, the exact opposite, I even tried to pitch that idea at FT on day 1 but he either missed it or didn't accept it. It also could only make sense if FT has prior to start info, but he could have had that because I did, or think I do. I fished that out at my allies last night, figuring they'd either tell me there info or try to fake it if scum, nothing happened. That and some other factors made me doubt they could be scum, even though we were the most obvious group to be infected.
There's a lot more to this but it involves my team, I'd feel better if they came out voluntarily but if they think its too dangerous, I'll understand why, if they are clean, one of them will be at least. A great deal more of this makes sense with that info but I don't think we're all vanilla masons. I might as well put that out too, I also picked a shared characteristic besides team member for my claims - they're all "Will survive hit by tank shell' sorts, I have some NK-resistance, not total, which was another reason a SK worried me, nobody claimed a legit vig character and I had NK-resistance, and it fit so many other claims well, so if you throw in a clear NKer - Deadpool - well in a fairly small game like this it makes sense to spread some NK protection around or the game goes to fast, 2 NKs a night plus a lynch can deplete players really quickly in a 13 players game. This also had to do with baiting my teammates, I figure done of them was probably scum so I dangled something - information, vital info I was afraid to divulge - this is actually true, but I figured if they reported that back to scummer HQ I'd be attacked, and it would probably fail, and I'd know... unsurprisingly when that didn't come I figured my teammates were either infection free, didn't take the bait, or had bigger fish to fry and understandably feared I might be docced... so a dead roled mason, fist, fit the 'bigger fish' pretty well.
Hope that clarifies, I think it will make even more sense if I can do a total unload but I'd feel better if one or both of my teammates came out first, and I won't expose them if I'm already dead. Trust me though, should that happen the move on Deadpool will make even more sense as will some other things. It also lets me play out one more card I think may actually flat out prove my innocence, but it also exposes my teammates.
