I don't know much about arabic titles, really. I do want to do a bit of basic research into that before I start, before I checked it out due to your post, I didn't know the difference between a caliph and a sultan, and didn't know about maliks at all. That's part of the reason I used the english terms instead, I didn't want to use the wrong title.
