Night - Edit 1

Before modification by Kylia Skydancer at 16/08/2010 07:11:17 AM

Night approached and the guests retired to their rooms. As they settled in for the night, many of them activated ter angreal they had brought along with them. soon, the night became quiet.

As the guests slept, the servants in white filed into the main room. Silently, eight stepped forward to remove the bodies of Souvra and Bekkar. As the body of Souvra was moved, a rod of matte black rolled out of her clothes and clattered onto the floor. Another servant stepped forward and picked it up. with no regard for its apparent worth of usefulness, she crossed to the door leading to the outside and threw the object down into the tangled underbrush of the garden.

In the hours before dawn, a figure stole through the Hallway. Carefully he opened up a door to one of the other rooms and slid in. So busy with making sure the door didn't creak, he didn't notice that the figure on the bed wasn't asleep until it spoke.

"I knew it was you."

The figure spun around, noise filling the air, noise which he quickly muffled.

"You should really do something about that." the man sitting on the bed advised. It's quite loud. And a bad idea to wear such trinkets while trying to kill somebody.

The figure drew forward a wicked-looking curved knife and lunged at the man, only to be met by the slash of a nobleman's sword. He fell back from the slash and the man smiled in victory.

The intruder smiled back. where the sword had bit into his body was a golden glow. As it faded, it could be seen that he was unharmed.

"What? But..!" the man stuttered, off-balance.

The intruder took this moment to plunge his knife deep in the man's chest. Quietly, he waited until he was sure the man was dead and slipped out.

A new day dawned.
