Hmm ... I think I am working from a different definition of Modern Real Earth.

And with analysis - please feel free to explain why you think my qualifiers on MRE are wrong, there's room for interpretation but again, Captain Kirk and Rand Al'Thor are absolutely not form the modern world and have no business with a yes or even an UNC.
Amys
MRE: UNC
MCS: UNC
GEN: Male
No yet given
Artsapat
MRE: UNC
MCS: No
GEN: Male
Professional Wrestling
Monopoly, The Game
American Idol
GI Joe
The Apprentice
As UNC goes for MRE, GI Joe and Monopoly qualify, tough GI Joe barely, Apprentice, Pro Wrestling and Americna Idol are clearly "Yes"
beetnemesis
MRE: Yes
MCS: Yes
GEN: Male
Sluggy Freelance
Advertising Mascots
Christian Folklore
Jewish Folklore
James Bond
MRE of Yes absolutely doesn't get to include anything called 'Folklore', but would include Bond, James Bond, and many mascots in ads.
BlackAdder
MRE: No
MCS: No
GEN: Male
The Jungle Book
Aesop's Fables
The Chronicles of Narnia
Garfield
The Wind in the Willows
Well, Garfield is a Yes or maybe a thin UNC, otherwise consistent, and Garfield is ruled out by a MCS of 'No' since it has few characters and is pretty well known anyway.
There are talking cats in Garfield, I'd say that qualifies it as UNC or No.
Darth_Katie
MRE: UNC
MCS: No
GEN: Male
Looney Toons
Dexter's Lab
Barbie
The Simpsons
South Park
Simpsons and South Park are "Yes", so is Barbie, and I think Dexter too, Looney Toons, primarily dating to WWII era would get an UNC, especially with lots of off-world and time-travel/future stuff, but is definitely a Yes on MCS, it is Looney Toons, even an UNC would be questionable, though that may be my age bias, back in my day Looney Toons was still the major run kid's cartoon.
But in the Simpsons everyone is yellow, and they live in a world where Homer is allowed to work at a nuclear power plant and the EPA has the power to cover Springfield with a giant dome and then blow it up. And in South Park Saddam Huessein is Satan's gay lover ... in my option that does not quality as "real Earth." Also, I owned many, many princess, fairy, and mermaid Barbies when I was young, so I think it's a pretty fair argument that she does not actually live in Modern Real Earth. I'm all for girl power, but how can one woman be a teacher, a veterinarian, a doctor, a doctor, and have hair down to her feet all at the same time??? That is a fantasy world, my friend.
In my head, I put series/concepts with utterly ridiculous happenings firmly in the UNC category because nothing like that could ever happen in real life. Idk where it is, but it's clearly not Modern Real Earth.
Fanatic-Templar
MRE: Yes
MCS: UNC
GEN: Male
None Yet Given
Can't do much with that
Fox and Ravens
MRE: UNC
MCS: UNC
GEN: Male
Star Trek
Sonic
A Song of Ice and Fire
Spaceballs
Willy Wonka-verse
Start Trek, Sonic, SotF and Spaceballs are so far from MRE-YEs that and UNC isn't even plausible. Will Wonka would be a legit UNC, that's it
I gotta agree here. I'd put Willy Wonka in the No category as well. There are Oopma Loompas.
Hobo
MRE: Yes - changed to No
MCS: Yes
GEN: Male
Shakespeare plays
Wheel of Time
Enders Series
Robin Hood
Greek Myths
I was baout to cry foul on Hobo since not a darn one of those fits, but IIRC he amended his result and I haven't. Obviously, none of these are modern/real earth, which fits his changed answer
Isaac
MRE: UNC
MCS: UNC
GEN: Male
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Indiana Jones
Marvel Comics
Whedonverse
Dark Shadows
I think I've previously explained how these were all UNC, but yes it matches up.
Kronin al'Sulc
MRE: UNC
MCS: UNC
GEN: Female
Dr. McNinja
Barbieverse
Clue
Pokemon
American Idol
One of our two admitted 'female' characters (other is Napoleon, and maybe Blaine's since we've no data). I view GI Joe as a MRE UNC so I suppose it's opposite number, BArbie, might be an UNC not a Yes, Clue is set for olden days, so it's an UNC, I don't know about Dr. McNinja, Pokemon is anothe rof those 'a little to surreal to to really be a Yes but Yes or UNC would be fair' and American Idol is of course, a Yes and disqualified.
Pokemon is most certainly an UNC or a No imo. The entire premise is so ... so ... it's pokemon. I've not read Dr. McNinja, but it certainly sounds like an UNC.
Kylia Skydancer
MRE: Yes
MCS: UNC
GEN: Male
Buffyverse
The Sixth Sense
Captain Planet
Sherlock Holmes
The DC Universe
I list Wheodnverse/Buffy as an UNC but it could be a Yes in the ye of the Beholder, Sherlock Holmes is a no or at best an UNC, DC could also get a Yes or UNC, Captain Planet is a Yes as is sixth sense
I'd say Captain Planet, The Sixth Sense, DC, and Buffyverse all clearly qualify as UNCs since while they are presumably set in Real Life™ they contain obvious and prominent fantastical elements not common to actual Real Life™.
Napoleon62
MRE: No
MCS: Yes
GEN: Female
Mario-land
Narnia
Wheel of Time
Portal-land
Winnie the Pooh-land
All of those are nothing near real world, and he said that he wans't, 100% solid
Talic
MRE: UNC
MCS: UNC
GEN: Male
The Land of General Mills
Booze Island
Sports Mascot Battle Royale!
KIKKOMAN The Original Teriyaki sauce!
Q is for Dr. Tran!
I think I did Talic already, most of these have decent options for UNC or are definite UNC, solid.
Agreed.
White Flame of Tar Valon
MRE: Yes
MCS: Yes
GEN: Male
American Idol
Les Miserables
Phantom of the Opera
Smallville
Chicago
MRE of yes, so Idol is good, I suppose Chicago is good if he means the musical, though the 1920's is pushing outside the Modern bit a bit. Smallville is a DC so could get an UN but it's very MRE-centered too, so yes is fair, Phanotm of the Opera is a No and so is Les Miserables.
I'd say Smallville is more of an UNC since Clark Kent is an ALIEN, but that's just me, I can see how it could be argued differently. Both Phantom and Les Mis are set in the past, which disqualifies them from being MODERN Real Earth, but I am a bit tempted to put them in the Yes category simply because they actually do not contain any fantastic elements ... other than bursting into song to express one's feelings, I suppose. Chicago I am putting in the same boat. Les Mis is basically clear cut historical fiction, and Phantom is the romanticized tale of a psychopath with a skin disorder, though I guess it's a bit of a toss up whether he actually had any magic powers or not ... whatevs. Make that an UNC.
Yunalesca
MRE: Yes
MCS: Yes
GEN: Male
The DC verse
Buffyverse
H20 just add water
The Office
Dollhouse
DC, Buffy, and Dollhouse can all get a Yes, though again I don't think 'Yes' is appropriate for DC as a whole, individual characters maybe. Office is a Yes, and the mermaid show is a Yes.
I would say anything with Mermaids, Superman, Vampires, and programmable women is either an UNC or a No, as I have said before. The Office is the only one I'd consider truly a Yes.
Okay, Summary
First off, about how I'm blatantly narrowing down options and exposing people, spare me, Darth Katie already warned everyone about that and the only person who replied prior was BlackAdder who's responses are 100% consistent anyway. I actually started writing this because I saw Hobo's and thought I nabbed a 0% true, but I remembered he swapped answers so that falls apart and it seemed silly to stop halfway done.
Maybe not, but I am willing to bet that if you asked everyone to justify their choices, they would be able to clearly do so.
Okay, who comes up heavily setting-questionable? DK's a little tipsy but considering she was the one who warned everyone on this subject it's more likely she viewed her answers as consistent, so again, eye of the beholder. Fox is Willy-wonka or none of the above, and Artsapat's only got two possible. Nobody came up totally dry [shake's fist at DK] but we've definitely narrowed down potential fake RC's here, especially since the second half of the question kicks in as more relevant for individual claims as opposed to settings. If Amys and FT want to give settings, I'll add them, but they did answer both other sets of questions.
Insert theme music here.
