Agreed. This was a great show, one of the best of any genre that I've watched in a long time. The two leads were brilliant, and Clancy Brown is always good in supporting roles.
What I found especially intriguing was Oz' many self delusions, and the question as to whether or not he was well aware that these were fabrications. Some of his most violent reactions come when another character attempts to puncture one of his balloons, or otherwise ridicule his perspectives.
But the bottom line is, Oz and Sofia are both monsters. Humanized, yes. Sympathetic to a degree. One can almost understand. Almost. But monsters, none the less.
