I really, really, really hate the idea that the Dark Wizard is Saruman (which I had assumed upon first glance of him but immediately discarded because Saruman does not start out evil, and even if you don't care about adherence to the lore in this show it's still incoherent for Saruman to be so evil but be buddies with Gandalf in the Third Age).

I will say this for the Rhûn storyline: the show's setting of Tom Bombadil's song is lovely and very singable. And I quite like Gandalf's actor.
Honestly, I really like pretty much all of the actors! I wish the writing took better advantage of their skills.
That it's not Saruman and is instead a Blue Wizard gone off the rails. But who the hell knows anymore.

I would have preferred Khazad-dûm to Eregion if we'd gotten more of it.
