Who is killing whom in France over expressions of ideas?
You and I will not agree on the role of religion in the public sphere. I see expressions of female Muslim religious coverings as sexist, mysogynistic, and oppressive (same goes for Jewish coverings as well). And I would be happy to see both the religious Muslim world and the religious Jewish world have true Enlightenments so they can stop thinking that clothing is going to help them attain any sort of spiritual awakening or wisdom or becoming closer to their gods.
