Biden would still be running, and I'd be a lot less nervous about November. Ghavrel Send a noteboard - 24/07/2024 10:29:48 PM

I'll be blunt: I wish he hadn't. I don't have any particular ill will toward Trump, but I want him unable to take power, and his actions have led me to a point where I don't particularly care about what happens.

Joe is right that there would be widespread violence. I would prefer Trump withdraw, or, failing that, die of natural causes. But at this point I think the chaos that would ensue would be less dangerous than another four years of Trump as president.

I'm not saying this lightly. I think my thoughts on this are sinful and corrosive to my soul, and I'm deeply alarmed at any expression of political violence. But Trump is so uniquely dangerous that I can't help but wish it had happened.

I'm open to the possibility that I am flatly wrong and that the resulting damage to society would land us in an American Years of Lead.

I just want Harris to win in a blowout.
