but what they been saying is he had a discord and steam account which the authorities now have access to and they can read what he wrote even though that is encrypted so they must have those companies compliance (or the actual devices)

he preferred anonymity social media and not broadcast social media like facebook or instagram

and based off his internet searches he was searching the day and location of both R and D events like the DNC and the local trump rally

talking personal here, me but others. We forget how much social media has changed in the last 4 years, and the last 8 years and so on. For example their used to be a Blip.tv that was prominent in 2012, it was no Youtube but wall street thought it was an investment thing and it shut down 3 years later in 2015

Snapchat launched in 2011, rebranded itself in 2016 and tried the spectacles, and was going to do an IPO in 2017. Blah blah blah layoffs in 2022 and 2024.

While tiktok is the rage, with it launching internationally in 2017, all these partnerships in the US 2018 and 2019, so on and so on

what I am saying is how a 20 year old, 24 year old, and 28 year old use social media is based off first impressions and first experiences, and a 20 year old shooter would be 13 in 2017 with facebook and facebook was for the old and politics in 2017

plus this kind sounds like an asocial creep who ate alone, was bullied, and did not have social friends plus depression. Would such a person want to be broadcasting things on those platforms? Yes some school shooters do manifestos, but others prefer private communities like discord, chan, encrypted sites
