Everyone in charge of the IPs that I loved in my childhood hates us. The people near the top that don't hate us (Ryan Reynolds, Dave Filoni, John Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard) aren't in charge enough.

I get it. I'll watch/read older stuff, or other IPs.

I mean, sometimes it's hard to tell if the problem is 'not good at storytelling / bad at their jobs' or 'hates the already existing fanbase and themes of the original work' (Wheel of Time TV show) but it almost doesn't matter.

Except maybe it matters, because when it's obvious that the creators hate the existing fanbase (post-Endgame MCU, present-day Star Wars) it's worse.
