But the lying press (and I am using the English variant of the German on purpose here) has a goal. To defeat Trump. Not to be objective in the race between Biden and Trump - but to be a extension of the DNC. The video shows clearly that, as you note, in the comments after he was still talking about the auto industry. And then he compares to the steel industry. He is basically talking about economic nationalism (a debate for another time).

And so whatever biased observers may think, it is clear that Trump was not calling for political violence here. And this kind of lying in the press, will only strengthen him when the truth keeps being shown/repeated. Because people will see the overt bias in the media.
