Though definitely, Taylor Swift is an actual global superstar, whereas the NFL's international appeal is rather more niche, so a lot of this added value would be coming from overseas - and indeed wouldn't involve any merchandise sales nor domestic viewing ratings.


It is coming mostly from overseas and from the fact that the sales of Chiefs items and Kelce jerseys in particular have skyrockerted - especially in foreign markets.

Similarly NY Yankee merchandise ranking as the number 1 seller for all sports is driven by the global market.
