I see it as Egypt having been paid off. Without that money from America things might be different. But you’re right about it being a JV. As to the matter of apartheid, which I’ll define as civil law for one group and military law for another, I have a problem with what you’ve written about Israeli Arabs, or at least the completeness of what you’ve written. While the official population of Israel is close to 10 million people, Bibi effectively rules over close to 15 million. The official 10M break down to about 7.5M Jewish citizens and about 2.5M Arab citizens, mostly Palestinian Muslims. Not included are the roughly 5 million stateless Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. As a stateless people, they are in no way equal, let alone equals in Israeli society. Nor can they be members of the Knesset. If you want limit this to the Palestinians/Israeli Arabs who hold Israeli citizenship, okay. But that’s completely ignoring the problems of the other 5M Palestinians.
