Poor Rand. At the end of season 1 he didn't get his epic battle with Ishamael. At the end of season 2 he again didn't get his epic battle with Ishamael. And no battle with Turak. He was once again shielded and sat like a lap dog. At least until he finally got up and used a sword to "kill" Ishamael. When earlier this season we saw a sword did not kill Lanfear. And this was on top of a tower rather than across the sky.

But who, you may ask, did get a battle with Ishamael at the end of Season 2? Egwene. Somehow this weak novice can best the most powerful channeler from the AOL with a shield of air. And this was after she had her her own "epic" finale confrontation that involved collaring Renna while still being collared herself. Who she somehow kills using the sul'dam powers. Not only are these writers not caring about what an a'dam does according to the book, but they don't seem to follow what an a'dam does according to earlier episodes showing that you can't use as an object as a weapon against your sul'dam. People, I would not be surprised if we later learn that Egwene is the true Dragon in Rafeland.

I think this latest development has sent Cannoli off the deep end. Cannoli come back and recap this latest episode travesty please.
