He basically went and said that his reason for turning to the Dark was that he could never sleep through the night, so now he wants to end the Wheel and the entire universe so he can sleep and never wake up again. Um. Okay.
Also, wtf was that about Ishy, Lanfear and Lews Therin (or, as they called him in an earlier episode, the Dragon Reborn) being best friends? With this show's track record, I'm now expecting a flashback to an Age of Legends threesome sooner or later.
I do however like that they've sort of given Ishamael's Moridin's later personality rather than the stereotypical megalomaniac nutcase that was early books Ishy. In fact you might say that about the villains in general on the show - they are mostly a lot more reasonable than in the books. Whereas the supposed good guys are, to put it mildly, all over the place in terms of sanity and doing things that make even the remotest semblance of sense. I'm more and more getting the impression that there really isn't any kind of plan behind all these wild jumps - by this point they're just making it up as they go along based on some vague list of plot elements from the books that they toss in in pretty much random order.
