Of course, you can make the counter argument that the function of the House is to represent the interests of their specific districts within the states, and so more frequent elections help hold them accountable. But then the splits between urban and rural districts often make reelection a formality. As Pelosi said about AOC's district, a ham sandwich would win the election if it was a Democrat.

Meh, I digress. My natural cynicism is being exacerbated by the far right continuing to insist that any election their candidates lose must have been fraudulent. And by the the impending Biden/Trump II. And if not them, then whom? Harris/Disantis? Jesus....

One would hope that a nation of over 350 million could produce better candidates for its highest office.
