Because I was a bored and horny person visiting my Father over the summer and I needed something to do over the summer teenage months between the high school school year.

The books were recommended by two teenage guys at one of those nerdy get togethers things I also did twenty years ago. "Boys State"

So yeah I read 11 of the Wheel of Time Books in like 2.5 months

Also read Dune series, ASOIAF, and about 4 other series during the larger but also same 24 months.
