No. Just...no.
That is the antithesis of Tolkien. That using evil to defeat evil only accomplishes replacing one Dark Lord with another is, if anything, the central theme of his writings.
I fear this show will be every bit as disappointing as TWOT.
A little learning is a dangerous thing.
This certainly does not bode well for the Amazon Rings of Power series.
