I hope enough of the species survives that we can build on it and do better, but you keep clutching on the Constitution. I guess it's some kind of comfort to you.

As you do, though, imagine if the Founders had blathered about the Magna Carta as they came to realize they couldn't continue under British rule. Or perhaps you can't? You seem wowed by the Constitution, but completely devoid of any understanding of the role of such a document in society.
