If your point is that there are extremes, than I give that to you. In fact, it is a point in favor of removing Federal jurisdiction.
It is my argument that the more complex an issue is, the more numerous the solutions need to be explored to find a proper way forward.
Both sides are paranoid, and can find examples to justify why the present is unbearable and how we think the immediate future is going to get so much worse.
Why is it going to get worse? Because states are going to make maximalists policies that actually do not reduce harm. Do not reduce abortions and mothers deaths in the worse case health scenario (for medical shit does happen), they will do so in order to feel in control, to feel righteous, to feel the zeal. I fear it is going to get worse for mankind loves our gratification and is a creature capable of self/other destruction in our lives excess.
One could do restrictions on third trimester Abortions under Roe and the other course cases that followed. But the near future gives us another chance to feel a higher level of control, agency, and self-zeal.
