You seem to be arguing with an alternate version of me... - Edit 1

You can't bitch about judicial activism just because you didn't like an outcome if you support legislating from the bench in the first place;

But I'm <I>not</I> bitching about judicial activism. Nowhere in my first post is there any mention of it. It seems to be your favorite (only?) talking point, but it's of no concern to me.

it's par for the course that you're not going to win 100% of the time. And, especially in an arena like legislating from the bench, your apt to have decisions overruled on a semi-regular basis, especially if they were recent decisions like Roe/Casey and had no Constitutional support. </Quote>
You don't win 100% of legislative battles either. Does that mean you like every piece of legislation passed since independence, regardless of party?
I'd say if you're that worried about losing a popular right, take it to the legislature. But we know how that'll go, so you can't really do that, either.

Ie. the legislature, because of it's tilt towards rural states, will block something that enjoys broad popularity with the population? Bravo.
Maybe all you can do is complain, lol.

That's quite a bit better than arguing against something the other person never said. Once might be a mistake, but now it just seems that you have nothing of merit to say on the actual subject, so you keep harping on judicial activism.
