My premise was simply stated and based on logic. If the fetus is human then it shares the same right as any other human to not have its life extinguished.
No claim that all life is sacred.
No discussion on the nature of evil.
Just a simple binary based on the fact it is illegal in all 50 states and in Federal law to take a human life. But, of course, there are legal exceptions to those laws. And as always, the devil is in the details.
For ethics does not stop it is an ongoing process. Once cannot "reduce" this to something simple like cutting a knot in half for it intersects at so many things, and it unfolds over time and space.
This is simply bullshit, with this logic why not nuke the world (or not) since that is the only question that matters.
We can not remain in this reduction. We have to move on. Life is mess and if it has value it will remain messy and full of entropy.
