The omnipresent algorithm of vigilance instantly pounced upon a reply I made yesterday. Our very own Amy and Beqi shared a meme that advised teenage girls being harassed by a stranger to approach any woman passerby and say loudly, "mom, this man won't leave me alone."
I replied, "alternatively, you could take something long and sharp out of your purse, like a knitting needle, and stab him in the eye."
This, I was immediately informed, constitutes incitement to violence and is contrary to Facebook regulations. It was also my second offense! Apparently I had commented a couple of months ago that someone deserved a slap in the back of the head.
Bottom line: 24 hours in jail. Not am I unable to post, but also can't comment on or even like another post.
I'm not to blame. Society has made me a criminal. Rehabilitation, not punishment!!
