Went into it with an open mind determined not to be one of 'those fans' who picks apart every tiny difference between book and show. My honourable resolve lasted about two episodes.
After ep8 I sat in a kind of meditative silence contemplating the talent (Talent?) required to screw up that badly. Sanderson's books now looked like skilled and faithful continuations. Forums were full of savage (and very funny) critiques. And a thought flickered 'Man, if that Cannoli guy is still about I bet he's written an AMOL-length rant already.'
I was not disappointed.
