Ok, this one was very satisfying, actually, and not just for the smut. This book has everything epic fantasy plus sexy time. The world is split between the allied kingdoms and the evil they thought they had beaten. It is growing again and coming back bigger.
I don't want to tell you the synopsis. I want to tell you what I liked and didn't like.
Likes
1. Strong snarky characters.
2. Actual growth in main characters.
3. Good spicy sexy scenes.
4. I'm invested in the story. I will read the next one.
Dislikes
1. I knew the stat of their sexual organs in nearly every paragraph. So much steel hardness and sploosh. It was too much for even me.
2. Pretty much that. The rest of the book is decent enough to keep me interested.
Side NOte: MIlla Vane is a nom-de-plume of Meljean Brook who wrote The Iron Seas Series. Very steam punky, Very steamy. Some Alpha-holes so if that isn't your kink, maybe skip the first one.
