I think you're repeating my point back at me, so I doubt it will be much of a surprise - Edit 1

that I don't think it's misogynistic. I assume my wording probably led to some confusion there, but I will try and rearticulate it.

In general I find people who make those criticisms (like black Achilles in the BBC Troy thing) generally are just doing it because it jars with their prejudices. In this case it's very obvious that it's damaged the telling of the story (in my opinion in an irretrievable way).

I'm sure there were ways to make a WoT themed story with this level of plot deviation more general balanced and up to the sensibilities of the age, but it would have taken a creative act not all that far in magnitude for the one Jordan took to create it in the first place. Something clearly Judkins is vastly unqualified for. The more you deviate from the source the greater the creative burden falls on the makers of the show rather than the author, when that's a budget issue you can overlook it often. When they ditch Caemlyn so they can go to Tar Valon to show Moiraine and Suian getting frisky (which in isolation I'm all for, but at the appropriate point for the story, not before you've established the main characters) then it's clearly poor film-making.
