I admit that I hadn't foreseen their stubborn insistence on the 'let's keep the DR's identity secret until the end of the season' thing, which forces them to minimize Rand's role and screentime, and conveniently allows Moiraine to keep the focus longer than she otherwise would have. Not quite comparable to Sean Bean in GoT anymore, true. But still, that ends in episode eight. It's a safe bet that they'll continue to focus a bit more on the female characters than Jordan did, but moving forward that will mean Egwene, Nynaeve, Elayne, Aviendha, Min more than Moiraine.
